Khan Wedding September 2011

We were honored to be selected to create Juvaria Khan's wedding at Enchantment Resort, last September 2011. She and her family were such lovely people, and the year we spent working with them was really something special!

The first night dinner was all brights, turquoise, orange and yellow, to match Juvaria's gorgeous beaded gown for Mehndi. This was the second night event, which was the elegant evening for family and friends to toast the bride and groom and their families. Theme colors were burgundy, red and gold.

The stage was set with huge florals, gold arch and antique setee, and a curtain of red jewel beads and hundreds of red carnations.

And to top the evening off, the stunning cake, created by Donna Joy Varney of Sedona Sweet Arts. We want to thank Sameer Soorma Photography for these wonderful images, Suzanne Taussig Events for her incredible event coordination, and we look forward to our next South Asian wedding.

Sedona Golf Resort Wedding

This beautiful wedding on September 30th, 2011 had to be moved indoors at the last minute as a huge Sedona monsoon storm moved in quickly, drenching the outdoor site. Everyone on site grabbed chairs between lightning strikes!
But as you can see, the stunning view at The Sedona Golf Resort made the perfect indoor backdrop.
The rich Sedona colors looked so beautiful with our bride's ivory dress and beautiful strawberry blond hair!

This Fall, one of our brides asked us to enhance a beautiful beaded prayer necklace that would "entwine" the two of them during their ceremony. This small adornment became an entire wedding floral theme of pale colors, from yellow and pinks, to lavenders. Held at The Creekside Inn, this garden wedding was cozy... and elegant.

The bride's bouquet had LOTS of texture, with peonies, spray roses, garden roses, waxflower, lady's mantle and hypericum berries. Right out of an English garden!

Arrangements for the cake table, guest book table and gift table were large scale, with additions of alstromeria, larkspur and solidago.

Family style tables were filled with smaller versions of these arrangements in jelly jars, creating an abundant garden feel on soft pink table cloths.

And the reception for 150, held on the upper lawn protected from the sun by a beautiful canopy from Verde Valley Rentals, POPPED with bright apricot napkins! Our thanks to Cameron Kelly Photography for these beautiful photos!!

Pretty In Pink

Cameron and Kelly Photography really captured this beautiful October wedding! From pale pink to apricot...our bride's bouquet consisted of peonies, mini callas, stock, lisianthus and David Austin roses!

Los Abrigados creek side reception literally "glowed pink" in the warm twilight. The chocolate brown table cloths really added that touch of Fall.

Table centerpieces were just as feminine, with a rich mix of roses, dahlias, stock, spray roses, lisianthus and bare grass.

And the bride and groom's sweetheart table was a lush drape of all her favorite pink themed floral. What a gorgeous evening!
